Focusing on Health and Accomplishments

My first child roared into the world in July 2011. My second child gently entered our family in October 2013. Now its about mommy getting & staying healthy and strong!

I recommend the two books "It Starts with Food" and "Good Calories Bad Calories". Learning about food and how my body reacts to them has changed my health, my energy, and in so many ways my life.

A little more about myself: I'm an American that has been living in Germany since early 2002; I'm a wife, ...

No, the may race is just a 5k. It's through an Apple orchard though, which will be a new experience for me. How do you think it compares to running on a paved surface? And it ends in a cupcake festival (I say 5k earns a cupcake)

I've done a Whole30 before and it was SO good. I mean, it was hard, but I felt really excellent by the end of it. It broke not only my sugar cravings, but also my caffeine addiction!

But I know it reduces a lot of mamas' milk production... It's why I waited so long to try this again! But I stopped breastfeeding 3 months ago (it was going terribly for a plethora of reasons) and therefore have no excuses any more.
