Focusing on Health and Accomplishments

My first child roared into the world in July 2011. My second child gently entered our family in October 2013. Now its the time for mommy to get back to feeling strong.

5 simple rules to be happy:
Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
Live simply and appreciate what you have.
Give more.
Expect less.

No, the may race is just a 5k. It's through an Apple orchard though, which will be a new experience for me. How do you think it compares to running on a paved surface? And it ends in a cupcake festival (I say 5k earns a cupcake)

I've done a Whole30 before and it was SO good. I mean, it was hard, but I felt really excellent by the end of it. It broke not only my sugar cravings, but also my caffeine addiction!

But I know it reduces a lot of mamas' milk production... It's why I waited so long to try this again! But I stopped breastfeeding 3 months ago (it was going terribly for a plethora of reasons) and therefore have no excuses any more.

The scale isn't always the answer!! (mine wasn't nice to me either this week) It's how you feel, do you use a measuring tape? Are your clothes looser? Keep doing what you are doing, eventually the scale will catch up. Sometimes it's even water retention....Just keep pushing!!!
