Hi, just a couple of tidbits about me. Controlling my weight has always been a life comment. Over the years I have done pretty good up to now. I guess with life stresses and changes, focusing on me and my health took a back seat and now I look a mess. I am 5 ft 2in. weight 169 pds and miserable. I look forward to using this program and chatting with new friends to help me shed these unwanted pounds and get back to a more healthy lifestyle. Update 7/26/2013. Well not to much has change ...

Well not to much has change except I have added 3 pounds. I am more active and I am tracking better what I eat, but the scale is still going in the wrong direction. So I am adding more support to help me achieve my goal.

My Goals:
Hello SparkFriends, my goal is to finally achieve how to eat healthy and to maintain a healthy weight for life.

My Program:
To help achieve my goal to eat healthier, I have added more fresh fruit to my diet, which is amazing to me since most of my life I have stayed pretty much away from eating fresh fruit. I think the change came when my family fast as group for a love one before surgery and I had to find away to maintain the fast. So I tried fresh fruit again and realized that I really do like some of it. (watermelon, cantaloupe, blueberries, strawberries and nectarines, so far) As far as exercise, I walk 4 days a week with friends for 30 minutes during lunch and I go to the gym three days a week (Zumba, Spin, Spin) classes for 1 hr.

Personal Information:
Well, I will hold off on too much personal information other than the fact that I am a christain lady that believes in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Other Information:
I love to read but haven't found the time lately and I love watching suspense and funny movies.
