Welcome to my Spark-Page! I'm glad you've decided to take the time to come visit with me.

I'm a 45 yr old, work-at-home Mom of 2 girls, Ages 13 & 10 yrs old, married for 18 years and struggled with eating healthy and exercising regularly most of my life. I know I need to live a healthy life. I currently am not healthy. I lack energy and motivation. I don't eat properly (skipping meals and catching up later is not a good thing.) I have digestive issues. I've NEVER had digestive issues in my entire life. I want to feel good. I want to look good in my clothes; not frumpy, like I do now.

I have maintained an exercise routine in the past. But when I fall off the wagon, I fall HARD. And usually the reason I fall off the healthy eating/exercise wagon is because I have to take the focus off of me and focus more on other things . I am not good at 'juggling' I guess. I must LEARN to incorporate my exercise & healthy eating into the times that get extra stressful for me.

Eating healthier, exercising and focusing on my goals must be made a priority in my life . Motivation is a key factor for me as well, so I look to you, my Spark-mates for help in this area. I know I am responsible for getting FIT & one else can do it for me, however, I know that encouragement from others that are going through the same thing will help me along this journey. I hope to make blogging here on SP more of a priority. Getting out my feelings and sharing my triumphs and struggles with others will help me understand myself better.

~Strength Training is Important!
~Eat healthier
~Get more sleep!

My Program:
I'm not following any set program.
* Drink more water
*Eat less sugar
*MOVE more!

I believe losing weight has a lot to do with your attitude and your mindset. When I am not focusing on what I want to accomplish and just 'let' myself eat whatever, that is how I end up out of control all over again.

    Thank you for adding me as a friend! I would love to be buddies so thank you for reaching out. Reading your message made me laugh because I have been mostly off than on lately with SP but hoping to change as well. I am a full time working mom of three amazing kids. Two girls who are 9 and a boy who is 8. Life is crazy busy and I am trying to find a healthy balance in which I can take care of my family and also myself. I set alarms on my phone so that they go off at work to remind me to stop what I am doing and take a walk around the office complex. I started wearing a pedometer so I can see just how many (or how little) steps I am taking and try to beat the amount the following day. Taking things one day at a time. Thanks again for reaching out!
