Over the last few years I have developed some health problems that are directly related to being overweight and having genetic factors affecting my risk of developing certain conditions,too.I have been heavy most of my life,but now it is affecting my health. I am tired of feeling so fatigued and unable to do all the things I want or need to do.
I am committed to doing all I can to improve my health and fitness.It is going to be a long journey,but I'm ready for the trip.

January 2011 Update:
I got rid of 28 pounds and didn't gain it back which is a success,but I had a lot of ups and downs in my life so I didn't do all that I needed to do to get rid of all the excess weight. I could just give up, but I have decided that this year I will do everything in my power to see all the success that is possible for me to accomplish.

My plans to do this are:

Exercise at least 5 times a week.

Drink 8-12 glasses of water every day.

Plan my meals as much as possible.
Eat small meals/snacks every 2-3 hours,5-6 x day.Keep calories in SP recommended range.

Find time every day to reflect on my goals and plans, to relax and de-stress, and to do something I enjoy.

Get 6-8 hours sleep each night.

Become organized in all areas of my life.

Get out of Debt and financially stable.

To accomplish these goals I have started doing things to make it happen.

For Exercise: I am working out to videos,started a walking program,and planning a strength training program.

Drinking 8-12 cups of water: I like water so keeping a large mug with me all the time will help me to do that.

Meals: That is going to take some effort,but I need to do it so I will have to find the time to plan them.

Finding time for me and getting enough sleep will probably be the hardest to do.I know that to be successful with wt loss a person has to get the right amount of sleep so I need to make that a priority. From past experience I have seen that it does make a difference in wt loss.

On becoming Organized in my life: I need to see change in all areas of my life so I am taking 1 step, 1 day at a time. I am determined that it will happen so it will. I am using any and all resources available to help me with that.

Debt: Already working on that. Set deadlines for each bill so doing all that I can to reach my goals on that. Should be out of credit card debt by June 2011.

By posting these goals on my page I am making myself accountable to myself and you that I will do this. I can't do this all on my own so I am counting on my Spark friends to be there for me as I will be there for you anytime you need me.

My Goals:
To get down to my goal weight.

To become physically fit.

To improve my health.

To become more organized.

My Program:
Eating healthy foods and avoiding sugar and added salt in foods. Avoiding high fat /high cholesterol foods.

Drinking at least 8-10 cups of water a day.

Going to SP every day for the motivation and support.

Exercise(That is the hardest so far due to lack of energy and time).

Jan 2011 Update-I will make time to exercise every day. No more excuses. I am determined to do what I need to do to get fit and healthy.
