Hi, I'm Ginny and I just turned 60. I live in sunny Florida, am married and stay at home. My husband and I both retired from the Air Force in 1994 after 20 years of service. We were both stationed at Vandenberg AFB, CA and dated briefly in 1979-80. We went our separate ways and then in 2002 found each other again on the internet. Hi, I'm Ginny and I just turned 60. I live in sunny Florida, am married and stay at home. My husband and I both retired from the Air Force in 1994 after 20 years of service. We were both stationed at Vandenberg AFB, CA and dated briefly in 1979-80. We went our separate ways and then in 2002 found each other again on the internet. We married in 2002, and I have been gaining weight ever since. I tend to try to please him with his favorite foods, and since he has a sedentary job and a hearty appetite, he is about 100 pounds overweight. A few years ago we both joined a gym, lost 35-40 lbs. It was wonderful, but we didn't keep it up, and we're back where we started. I have a closet full of clothes I can't wear, and am also concerned about the health effects of being this heavy, as well as the physical limitations.
Besides being ex-military and fitness buff, I'm also a distributor for a well-known health and wellness company, so I KNOW what to do. I just seem to lack the motivation on a day-to-day basis. I hope joining the Spark People will help keep me accountable, and make new friends as well.

Thanks so much for watching our crazy hoop vlog. We had fun making it. We've added two more and I'm sorry to say, things just get crazier. LOL
