My Goals:
I want to lose enough weight to control my type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise only.

I want to lose a total of 130 pounds.

I want to increase my self esteem and self confidence.

I want to exercise at least 4 days a week.

My Program:
I am working on cutting way back on carbs, eating lots of veggies and some fruits. I dont want to go hog wild on a strict very low carb diet....I dont do well with such strict rules!

Personal Information:
My name is Julie and I have 2 great kids. I have had type 2 diabetes for a few years. I am a nursing student working towards my doctorate in the hopes that I will be a nurse practitioner one day. I need to lose this weight so that I am taken seriously by my future patients. I want to be a role model to them.

So happy for your size change! It's always a great feeling to lose a clothing size! I am on the border of 14's...some fit...some don't. I have worn up to a size 24. Congrats! emoticon

I'm so sorry you lost your husband also. It was a traumatic experience for me...and this past year my sister lost her husband also. I would like to know what the heck is going on??? Wishing you the best of luck. Hope we will get to know each other better :) emoticon
