This time will be different!

I'm doing a StartOver beginning today! I'm tired of agonizing every morning on what will fit or what won't look obscene. I refuse to buy bigger clothes - especially when I have a closet full of small ones (and there are some really cute ones there too!)

So, today I track every bite again. Drinking water is not an issue for me at all. Exercise is so sporadic anymore - but I am going to try and exercise in moderation - that means 3 times a week for me. My tendency is to go all ...
I'm doing a StartOver beginning today! I'm tired of agonizing every morning on what will fit or what won't look obscene. I refuse to buy bigger clothes - especially when I have a closet full of small ones (and there are some really cute ones there too!)

So, today I track every bite again. Drinking water is not an issue for me at all. Exercise is so sporadic anymore - but I am going to try and exercise in moderation - that means 3 times a week for me. My tendency is to go all out and burn out! Not this time, I'm going to just try and add a little activity 3 days a week - no more and no less.

But food is the big one for me - I need to get back on Weight Watchers and really track. I tend to come home from work famished and grab whatever bag or box of junk that is close and eat crap while I think about what to make for dinner. I'm going to have to start using the crockpot so that dinner is ready when I get home.

I need to lose 20-25 pounds - I know I can do this and hope that all of my spark friends will help me and support me.

My Goals:
To get this weight loss thing taken care of once and for all - and then to figure out how to maintain - that always seems to be my downfall - I can get there, but can't stay there. This time is going to be different!

My Program:
Healthy sensible eating - I refuse to deprive myself of anything - I want to enjoy all that life has to offer - just need to do it in moderation!

Personal Information:
I am the director of a local United Way - love my job, but it comes with lots of stress.

DH and I have been together for 13 years - he is the love of my life and I thank God every day for him.

I have a 30 year old daughter who lives about 4 hours from me - she is expecting my first grandchild this summer.

Other Information:
I love cats, snowmen and butterflies.

I have a very positive outlook on life. My Christian faith is very important to me.

SP and all of my friends here are some of the best people I have ever met.

Hi there, I have done Zumba, but I don't use the fitness tracker. Some Zumba classes would definitely get me burning more calories than others. Maybe check with Wavedancer7, she is a Zumba instructor and I think she has measured her calories burned while in class. Have fun - those classes can be a blast.
