Working towards finding the old me

My name is Jen, and, for most of my adult life, I have been a big girl. I committed last summer to getting healthy, and dropped 20 lbs by diligent exercise and nutrition. This has been a stressful year full of family and work changes. As I try to be better at what I do, I find myself falling further out of my list of things that need to be taken care of. As I look forward into the new year, I need to adjust that list.

I have given myself plenty of excuses, and had some decent ones ...

I have given myself plenty of excuses, and had some decent ones that helped me not feel too bad about eating what I wanted and as much as I wanted, skipping workouts, getting less sleep... I have become very unhealthy. This new year, I will become the person I know I can be.

My program is pretty simple- Live Fit. I am wrapping up phase 2, moving on to Phase 3 next week

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Made it through day one of carb cycling! Woo! Hoo! The food was very good- and yes, it took a little chopping here or there, but really just took a few minutes, so I am finding it very do-able. Tomorrow is another day of the low-carb/no sugar and then five days of "happy" .
