Looking to make the most of retirement and 2016. My goals this year are:

To track my food and my exercise consistently~focusing on plant based, whole foods, avoiding sugar and processed foods. Eat mindfully. Add more steps to my day.

Keep challenging myself by taking classes in yoga teacher training and teaching water aerobics. Relearning how to ride my bike.

I will do my best everyday to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. No more beating myself up and ...

2015~ Completed 2nd part of yoga teacher training

Earned CYI credential~ Certified yoga instructor

2016~Taking part 3 of yoga teacher training

Continue to teach yoga and water aerobics

Reach out to others to encourage and be encouraged for success.

To get light enough, fit enough and strong enough to play tennis again!

Visit SP daily

Plant based diet

Cultivate healthy life style habits like drinking enough water, less snacking and consistent tracking

Exercise~Water aerobics, yoga, strength training

I know what you mean about habits... Good ones need consistent reinforcement... while the less desireable ones are like weeds that can and do grow anywhere with vigor with absolutely no encouragement whatsoever... If it were easy... everyone would be at their optimum health always and ever

Thank you for the warm welcome,.. I have gotten 2 of the books for my kindle-PC app. I am working the FWTS challenge/thread so far I don't think I have learned anything really new... although the statement that there are things we cannot control which do have an impact on our scale number(s) was heartening since I have thought that the weather did seem to have an impact on mine. Happy maintaining... someday I will attain a number range that supports my optimal health.
