My goal has recently changed. Previously it was to lose weight and I still want to do that, however, now I feel so much better after changing to healthy foods I want to continue feeling better and if I lose weight that's great! I am learning so much from the articles about good nutrition. Perhaps it is because I have the time now to read these articles when in prior years I was busy working and raising a family. I didn't make the time nor take the time to be healthier.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose weight to feel better and look better and to please my doctor who suggested this web site.

My Program:
I am tracking my food each day, my water intake and exercise. Lower the food intake, up the exercise and don't look back, only forward.

Personal Information:
I am from a very small town in NC. My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary July 1st, 2011. We have two children, a son and a daughter. Both are married and our son has two sons who we love dearly. I believe in God's grace through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and enjoy Christian friends who walk in the light.

Other Information:
I love to play golf, visit the "Y", read books, play games on computer, play Canasta and cards with girl friends, get together with family on outings and vacations.

Thanks Ma reading my blog.
Beck is interesting. It isn't a diet it is cognitive therapy. Learning to think differently.
As someone who has never failed to lose weight but has ALWAYS failed at maintaining I need a new way of thinking.

Thanks for commenting on my blog.
Do you have an old pressure cooker or a new one? The new ones are much safer than the jiggle top ones and have a pressure release valve.
I made Chicken Cacciatore last night in 9 minutes! (not counting the time to chop the veggies and take the skin off the chicken. I ate a small piece last night and it was good! The recipe says it is better the second day so I am looking forward to dinner!
