My goal has recently changed. Previously it was to lose weight and I still want to do that, however, now I feel so much better after changing to healthy foods I want to continue feeling better and if I lose weight that's great! I am learning so much from the articles about good nutrition. Perhaps it is because I have the time now to read these articles when in prior years I was busy working and raising a family. I didn't make the time nor take the time to be healthier.

I am adding a new goal today to keep my exercise minutes to 300 weekly and reach my goal weigh of 138 by June 1, 2018.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose weight to feel better and look better and to please my doctor who suggested this web site.

My Program:
I am tracking my food each day, my water intake and exercise. Lower the food intake, up the exercise and don't look back, only forward.
I am getting geared up for 2018 and the Winter challenge which starts on January 6. I am looking specifically at workouts for golf strength and performance. This past year I've made progress in nutrition and will continue to monitor Carbs, fats and proteins for doing this helped my tracking record this last 6 months.

Personal Information:
I am from a very small town in NC. Our time Zone in NC is Eastern Standard and in the Spring in March we go on Daylight Savings time until November. I believe in God's grace through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and enjoy Christian friends who walk in the light.

Other Information:
I love to play golf, visit the "Y", read books, play games on computer, play Canasta and cards with girl friends, get together with family on outings and vacations.

I'm just touching base to introduce myself (I'm Susan) and to explain my roll here on our wonderful Teddy Bear team. As Motivational Leader I am the one (along with the assistance of our EL, BBONET) I am here to make sure no bear is left behind. Sometimes we all get a little overwhelmed as the weeks of a 5% challenge go by and we lose momentum - I know this because it has happened to me several times!

Sometimes that scale just doesn't want to move but does that mean you are going to overlook the progress you are making in other areas? I hope not! Last challenge, I wasn't that successful when it came to weight loss but since I felt such a connection to our team I continued to exercise and worked on the LTGL goals each week.

Whether you want to be a Teddy Bear who is super involved with your team or one who consistently posts the bare minimum - this team is a team effort and we all should be proud of the role we each play.

Onwards we go - are you getting your bags packed? Have your water bottles filled? Are you planning ahead to be successful? Let's do this!!!

Thanks for dropping by my emotional eating blog. Looks like our mothers could have been great friends! If only mine had taught me more about abstinence lol. She was 5'3'' tall and 105 pounds when she got married at 25, and the most she ever weighed was 155, and usually 135-140. I weighed 145+ at 16 and didn't get down there again till I was getting married at 25.
