I have been waiting 3 years for major foot surgery on my left foot waited so long I now need major surgery on both feet, because too much pressure was put on right ankle. Just found out the surgery I was supposed to get this summer, 2014,has been postponed until the fall, need to take bone from hip to help re build my right ankle and have the foot reshaped and this is my good foot that is being done first. Month of bed rest and a while longer until it is strong enough for me to have the other one done, hopefully the wait will no be as long for second surgery. I used to love to golf even though I was not really good. Just loved the walk and company of good friends. Being so inactive as I cannot walk etc I have packed on the weight and I was overweight to begin with.
Update I got a cancellation surgery on right foot to be 23rd of June 2014. Hooray!!

My Goals:
Be lighter and healthier for surgery and recovery
1st Goal lose 15 lbs by Mar 15 made 1st goal Feb 27
2nd Goal lose 25 lbs by May 15 goal met April 3
3rd goal loss 40lbs for surgery goal met May 31
Make it thru recuperation without gaining weight.
Then worry about the rest when I hit these goals

My Program:
Eating healthier and cutting back on the bad food ( not completely cutting them out )and trying to move a little more

First surgery over June 23
Now on twelve weeks of bed rest and little else. Trying to maintain the weight loss I have had so far. SUCCESS as of Aug 14



Personal Information:
Love to play cards with friends and read - mysteries, light romance, police crimes.

Other Information:
Looking forward to getting back to walking, golfing and travelling as these have not been possible for 3 years.
