Short-term: 170 by June 30, 2013

Ultimate goal: I joined a Challenge to lose 13 lbs in 2013 and that would put me at 162 by 12/31/13;

Increase lung capacity and heart function by increasing regular exercise. Woo-Hoo!

My Program:
Tracking food /nutrition daily;
Track fitness daily: golf, aquafit, walking;
minimum 10 min exercise daily;
Track steps;
Incorporate yoga and tai chi for flexibility;
Strength training M,W,F -
Join challanges for short term momemtum!!
Stay focused and stay positive! Stay real!!

Personal Information:
My name is Linda and I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada in the southern interior. I have 2 married daughters and 3 grandchildren. My husband and I are retired. I have Atrial Fib and asthsma. I am on heart meds and use a puffer when I need it.

Other Information:
Avid reader; addicted to golf; love getting together with my gal friends; love my grandkids and love to visit them or have them visit; I love Spark People and how it has helped me on my journey of self-improvement.

I wrote the best comment about How much I enjoyed other blogs that you have written and somehow I lost it. (Did you see the part where I wrote I am an internet dummy? Some things never change). : )

I especially liked the one about turning 64 as I am 63 and my turn is coming! I too appreciate SP so much and people like yourself who are so encouraging and can write funny, interesting blogs to boot! Keep up the Good Work!!

Well, when I saw your name on a community post I was interested to see your page. I just started golfing last summer and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I can't wait to get out and learn more this year.
