I want to be part of the 5 percent!

This is not a diet, darn it!
This is a way of life, which includes
good days, better days and bad days.
All days have their place in a balanced life.

I'm learning that loving yourself is a habit that takes practice, just like playing the clarinet. It does get easier over time. I plan on practicing this habit for the rest of my days here on Earth.

Perfectionism is the enemy - food is nourishment (and pleasure).

My Goals:
My first major goal is to have a BMI that makes me "overweight" rather than "obese".

After that,
who knows? :o)

My Program:
I've promised myself 10 minutes of cardio exercise a day, as a minimum. I have kept this promise.

I track everything that goes into my mouth, and aim to be within my SP calorie range. When I go over this amount, I am learning to let go of the guilt, and move on to the next day.


Personal Information:
Happily married and firmly entrenched in middle age. Satisfied, but reeling at the increasing speed of the years. Not quite ready to be the mother of a two college students, but resigned to the natural order of things.

Other Information:
I love to travel, read, cook and hook wool rugs.

There is nothing I would rather do than play silly board games with friends. Bring on the laughs, baby!
