I thank SP daily for what we have accomplished nutritionally. The changes we are making are adding quality and happiness to our lives. Who knew that eating healthy and exercising could be so fun?!!

My main Health goal has been to focus on my own choices and quietly go about my wellness business.

The true joy in my Spark Journey has been every time a family member or friend asks about healthy choices for thier own lives.

My Goals:
Eat Heart Healthy.

Be a Good example of healthy living to others.

Fall 2014 Goals:

General Stretching at least 10 minutes everyday.
Practice Yoga for at least 20 minutes per session minimum of three days per week
Walk/Jog at least 50 minutes per session minimum two times per week
Vary Cardio workouts for days that I do not walk. At least 30 minutes three times weekly.
Strength train three times per week 30 minutes. Do a pull up by year end.
Participate in 8K - Columbia River Power Run September 20
Take a R&R Day once a week ~ rest, go shopping, paint, whatever.

Live the Fall Eight week challenge in Survivor mode. That is, little to no processed food. Limit alcoholic beverages, no more than one per day. Plan our menus and resist indulgent eating. Limit my trips to the store, eat out of cupboards, cooler and garden to save money and live healthier.

My Program:
Currently a member of the Fall 2014 5% challenge. I am a SUDS team member and leader- a loyal Dawggie!!!

During the eight week challenge;

My Diet:
Mediterranean diet plan tracked daily on SP, staying within Spark calorie range.

My exercise:

My exercise plan is outlined above.

My strategy for the Fall challenge is to stay connected to my SUDS team on a daily basis, stay in calorie range and enjoy my veggies!

Personal Information:
I live in the Wild West part of our Beautiful state of Oregon, which happens to be on the east side of the state.
I always wanted to live in a barn and now I do. I am happily married to Dave, my best friend. Our blended family includes four children, 11 grandchildren (each so successful in their endeavors), five dogs (i know) and one cat. My best work to date; taking care of my elders.

Other Information:
Dave and I love to ride our bikes and enjoy the outdoors.

One of our major
goals currently is to walk and bike the Oregon coastline with our dogs.

U CAN DO IT kiddo !!! Lets help to show the team,, there's NO REASON to "HAVE TO EAT IT" cos it's around or "given" to one.

emoticon !!! emoticon I also am tracking DAILY ! Even the ONE piece of licorice I had today ! (38 Cals for a piece of black twizzler )

Are you finding as I am,, that you NEED to FORCE urself to eat more? I would be WAY UNDER my cals if I were not tracking,,, or I'd instead be having that mentioned QUART of EGG NOG,,, and MORE than once ! Instead I PASS IT BY !! I KNOW much better !!! Also with the candy, ca led Peach Blossoms ! I LOVE THOSE with ALL I HAVE !! I could EASILY have a BAG A DAY !!! I could ALL TO EASILY eat 5 days out of 7,,, over by 1,000 cals if NOT MORE !! Oh yeah, and make things easier,, order a gluten free,, cheese that's non cheesey on it,, with turkey pepperoni, and 7 cloves of garlic ! YUMMY ! but, yet, I REFUSE to order it !!

I KNOW emoticon and NOT GAIN ANY WEIGHT as for me? emoticon for you are NOT ALONE !!

WOOHOOOOO WEEEE HAAAAAA !
