My name is Grace and I live in NM. I finally understand what it means to make a lifestyle change. I lost and regained weight in my first two years on Sparks because I was dieting and then going 'off' my diet. It was the third year that I made a sincere lifestyle change. I now eat whatever I want - in moderation - and I exercise almost every day. I have some ups and downs but they're minimal because I get back into my new lifestyle as soon as the scale goes up a pound or two. Some of my plateaus last longer than I would like, but I'm consistantly moving downward towards my goal. In the last year, I've actually lost weight on a trip- which usually meant a 10 pound gain! I look at my weight loss - not as a destination, but as a journey to good health. It will be a lifelong journey.

My Goals:
1. Stay at the low end of my calorie range.
2. Exercise 30 minutes every day.
3. Do ST at least 3x a week.
4. Have 100% participation in all challenges.

My Program:
I will do 30 minutes of cardio every day.

I will do Strength Training 3 days a week including upper, lower, core.

My name is Grace and I live in , New Mexico with my wonderful husband. We are both retired now - he is retired Navy and I'm a retired school teacher. We love to travel in our motor home.

Other Information:
I enjoy traveling. I am a voracious reader (mostly historical romances, mystery, some scifi), I also love to quilt, scrapbook and work with ceramics and pottery. We are very active in our church.

    Thanks for the goodie Grace. I've really enjoyed being back at BLC this summer. It wasn't quite as productive as I'd like weight-wise, but I'm continuing into the fall. Life is really good - we did a lot of traveling this summer. How are things with you?
