My fall goals

TODAY I recommit to ME! I am registered for a fall sprint triathlon (Spa Girl Tri at a resort - can't get much nicer than that)! Then, I will be running the TinkerBell Half Marathon in Disneyland in May 2015.

I lead a busy life, but no busier than others. That is not an excuse, it is just the facts that we all live by. I need to make time to focus on myself and get in the training needed to accomplish what I want.

My Goals:
My goals for Fall:

1) bike/swim/run (one or two of these a day) 6 days a week

2) track EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth!

3) Hike 2 times a month

4) spend more time with our grandchildren

5) spend more time with God

My Program:
I have signed up for a sprint triathlon in November, so I need to get busy training. I have a program to follow, but am not always consistent, because of work, home life, etc. However, my goal is to swim 3 days a week, bike 3 days a week, and run/walk 3 days a week. Some of the activities should be done the same day, so I will have a day of "rest" or cross training. I need to find time to stretch and strength train also, because both of these will improve my stamina, my flexibility, and my ability to bike, swim, and run.

Personal Information:
I have been married 38 years, am mother of 3 WONDERFUL daughters, grandmother of 7 grandchildren (4 boys, 3 girls). I am a Nurse Practitioner who cares for the homeless population, doing what I believe God wants me to do.


Other Information:
I love to sew and quilt; I am hoping to reorganize my life to work on some unfinished projects, although I am not sure how that will happen. I love to read, but seem to only get time when I am sitting in a waiting room. I usually carry a book in the car "just in case".

We HOPE you are a Dawggie for the Winter Challenge. I was reading your page and see you are half way to goal -- that is great. I have a much longer way to go.

Seems like we have much in common I am a Manager/Educator with a family planning program (love my Nurse Practitioners) and I am a KNITTER and quilter who loves to read. I have 2 adult sons, a grandson and lovely daughter-in-law.

LOL I NEVER EVER get to all the SUDs to welcome them to the team,, and this IS Premature, but whereas you have been a SUD before,, many times,,, we are about 99.99999 % sure you will be again, so WELCOME to the team !! When you get a chance,, plz update ur page to reflect the Wintah challenge !!

What are ur hopes? HOw will you fulfill them? What actions do you plan on? Any changes on the upcoming LTGL that we usually do? in general we start off with drinking water,,, than perhaps with tracking,, how do these benefit you?
