Hi there. Do you know that where patterns come from they are always needles just for their country. I brought all of my knitting needles from the UK. When I bought the yarn in Grants and nothing was right. Eventually another Brit was a knitter and she had the same problem.
My mothers patterns were asked to knit a square and the patterns would tell how to knit 3 inches and you count them and if it too small you have to use bigger or smaller needles. Theses days people can get Swedish yarn, Scottish yarn British yarn, American yarn. Some of the patterns have that information at the beginning. Take care (((HUGS))) Pat in Maine. I am waiting for my plan for my garden. I am hoping I would be able to use a spade after my surgery. My wrist and thumb are good looking but I might not be able to dig. I want it to be good enough to plant. Pat in Augusta. 22 days ago
SUE, congrats on your project. Well done. It will give you a motive to go to work for a while, I hope it helps you to be amongst people and enjoy yourself. That sounds so GOOD for you. Do you go every day or part time?.
