Started a New Team for "Lovely Ladies"

I started a new team for women over 40 called "Lovely Ladies Enjoying a Healthy Lifestyle". I'm a Christian in my 50's at 170 pounds, but the team is open to ALL "lovely ladies" of any faith, race, or size. So far there are only 5 of us on this journey together to lead a healthy lifestyle in Mind, Body, and Spirit. Please join us. Let's get healthy together, (and have fun doing it).

My Goals:
I want to have a healthy BMI which for me would be weighing 150 pounds or less. I've lost over 30. (20 pounds to go.) I want to take care of the body God has given me so that I can live a long and healthy life and be around for any future grandchildren.

My Program:
Only with the strength of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, can I resist the temptation of over-indulging in alcohol, and all those unhealthy extra calories. I will continue to eat lots of fruits and veggies and walk every day. I've always needed plenty of sleep and I will drink lots and lots of water. Mostly I will be grateful to God for all HIS blessings and my wonderful life.

Personal Information:
My name is Valerie and I'm 56 years young. I have a wonderful sweetheart and we live on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. I also have two grown sons who are awesome. I'm retired and love my life and it keeps getting better all the time.

Other Information:
My favorite quote is from Psalm 23, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want" God has taken care of me all of my life and blesses me everyday.

Another favorite is the last verse of Matthew: Jesus said, "I will be with you always, even unto the end of the age"

I also really like 1 Corinthians 10:31 "Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God."

Hi Val. I just saw your comment about feeling so tired and thought I'd share my story. I too had been feeling very run-down for months, and it turns out I was very, very anemic. You might want to get that checked. I've been taking iron pills for two weeks and feel so much better already. I'm also making a point of eating more red meat, which I'd rather not.
I hope you feel better. I puts a damper on everything to feel so exhausted all the time!

Thanks for the comment on my blog, i switched from the gum to the patch today. But it's not working too well with the smoking. Still AF though!

I read you status about fatigue and think you have mentioned this before.
I am just wondering if you have had your thyroid checked?
