DRIVEN...

Even more than at the time I wrote the post, I needed some kind words and really appreciate your perspective. Looks like you've demonstrated tremendous determination in reaching your goal -- I hope one day I feel as confident as you seem in your "After" photos!

I wish I would have had time to meet up while I'm up here! The nature of the beast is that we're always in meetings during the day, and then I have to do a mental 'data dump' after work to go over notes and get everything into the model before it leaves my brain. I am also with a coworker and I think he would have side-eyed my going to another country to meet up with a guy I met on the internet.. ha! emoticon I hope I get another chance to get out this way. It truly is beautiful near the falls (we made sure to check them out from both sides to get all of the views, including the hornblower boat ride- seriously awesome). I still think that if we find a race somewhere between us and you're knee is ready for action, we definitely need to plan to run together! Or if this project gets me up here one more time with a less hectic schedule...

Thanks for the encouragement on my blog. Went out again this morning and was soooo slow! But I didn't stop. My oldest son joined me, which was a treat. His response to my disappointment "Who cares about the time, Mom. Just rack up the miles!" I liked that.
