Focus:

Either one at a time or all at once ... I'm not going to pick on myself, but these are what I'd like to ultimately achieve:

Having a bath or relaxing somehow each night (not in front of the TV ... ok except on Mondays cuz I like to watch "The Following";
Getting to bed at a decent hour so I can get a good night's sleep;
Drinking lots of water;
Exercising daily; and
Making 40 smart food choices in a row.

I learned that it takes about 40-50 repetitions of something before it becomes a habit.

If I can make 40 smart choices in a row (I'm marking them off as I go - when I goof up, I go back to 1), until it's a habit.

Wish me luck! It isn't going to be easy, but it also isn't going to be a downer, if I make a mistake. "Oops! better start over" is all I'll say and back we go to 1.

Dr. Laura says "hard" doesn't mean "impossible" so. Here's to a bit of "hard" in my life.

My Goals:
To find and nurture supportive friendships so we can all help each other reach our weight loss goals.

Oh and, right now I am doing some research on some really really BIG goals I can achieve with my son. Like hiking in Yosemite or something cool like that. To Be Continued.


My Program:
Being oh so careful to take my medication daily at the right time and to be oh so careful after 8 pm in that oh so inviting kitchen space!
