I did it once and I can do it again ! 130# off and kept off for 3 years. 80# back on now due to poor coping skills with stress. This time it stays off. I don't want to die young or be in pain until I die old. I want energy and I deserve to be happy, energetic, and fit ! I've always taken care of others, now I take care of myself. NO MORE GUILT !!! I have choices.

Update: I had actually gained 147 # from my laziness. I had been at 177# for 3 years and still felt fat and out of control, poor self esteem. October 2013 I started again because I was unwilling to totally give up on myself. I discovered I really do love myself and I am worth so much more than what I think food & laziness were giving me.

10/5/2015 Update: I have finally arrived to Onederland. 199.3# Now on to goal !

My Goals:
1. Drink 8 glasses of water dly
2. do some sort of moving/ exercise minimum 3 days a week 30 minutes
3.Log food
4. Reward self with non food treats
5.add 15 minutes 1 x wkly weights/ strength

My Program:
Just starting again so small steps to a large goal. Drink the water, move the butt, be accountable to myself regarding the food I overeat. Better yet, don't overeat.

Goal is to release this weight in 10% increments
324-32.4 =291.6 Goal met !
291.6-29.1=261.9 Goal met !
261.9-26.1=235.8 Goal met !

Personal Information:
Started 2/15/07, rejoined 11/17/2013. I work as a nurse, no stress there...I love my family and my pets. I have no children. I am 52 yrs old and tired of being in pain so I am choosing to change my life for the better, to make positive choices and to be thankful for all things in my life good or bad as it will teach me in the end.

Other Information:
Love to RV. I had a 1988 class A Fleetwood pacearrow. Mom used to joke that it is so delaminated, she expects to look in her rearview mirror some day to see a class A convertible. LOL. Work full time, so camping is weekends and one 2 week trip yearly. I have 1 dog and roomie has 2, all eskimo's. Also like to bike but have to adjust handles again as wrists go numb fast.

    I had to look up "LCHF" - and now I see that's exactly what I'm doing! I'm not diabetic, so I do eat fruit (can you do that?) and I might have a teaspoon of honey in my morning full-fat plain yogurt, and then a big handful of berries stirred in. I am LOVING this way of eating. I tend to have a more savory palate - sweet things don't tempt me greatly. I do eat a square of chocolate now and again, as long as it is at least 70% dark. I will eat a serving of whole grains occasionally- quinoa (such a great substitute for white rice), but also brown rice, steel-cut oats, wheat berries, millet, and corn. No refined carbs, though, including flours. So that's about it - no refined carbs, very little sugar, and also no white potatoes for the time being. You're so right about anything pre-packaged. You almost have to do whole foods cooking. Luckily, I like to cook!

    I found your page on the motivators link. I read it because I'm kind of on the same journey - lost 93#, gained back about 70, now losing again. A great loser but a failing maintainer, for the same reason - stress. This time I feel as though I'm on the right track, though. I'm back to 35# lost and it seems to be coming off slow but steady, about 1/2 to 1 pound per week. And we'll get there, yes?! :)

    I so understand about the time factor!! And trying to make time to take care of my health goals. We will make it through this tough phase. If we don't, we'll be so mad at ourselves. LOL

    emoticon it was a little lower this morning .. 142 maybe it takes awhile to get into your system ?? it is a months supply - 1 a week .. so since I have not had any bad reactions I will stay on it and see what happens .. will upping the strength training maybe that will kick in too ?? I just don't know
