~Roni Rae~

I have been yo-yoing my whole life. I want and need to be stable. I am so tired of falling off the wagon.

I have been doing a great job on working out. Before this week I was going to the gym 4-6 times a week. I had lost 18.2 pounds. I have gained back about 5 of those. I am ready to push harder.
I am having a hard time with my food intake. I need a nutritionist. I can't afford one. I'm going to try printing off some recipes and try to cook better.
It depresses me. ...

You know the thing is, I don't follow all the rules. I eat too much fruit, I make smoothies. I will eat it after 2... I don't buy the right yogurt, I just get whatever is on sale. The thing that's important is cutting out the simple carbs. If you only eat veggies and lean protein, it is super hard to eat too much, so your calorie content is right on par with any other healthy diet plan. I can tell you that if you suffer from snack attacks or constant hunger... well this plan will help you. Give it 10 days. If you don't feel different/better, then maybe its not for you. I am a very black and white person. If you tell me I can't have something, I don't eat it. Give me a little wiggle room (grey area) and I stumble. Where I fall with this diet is when I get to add back in carbs, it was really hard for me to regulate my intake... I am a chip freak and I have a hard time stopping at one serving. But that's not the diets fault, that is my own. Its not like you are carb free forever, just the first 17 days.

what is scary about the diet? Its fairly simple. No simple carbs. The first 17 days is a carb detox persay. Unlimited Lean Proteins, Veggies, eat two servings of low sugar fruits and two servings of yogurt or other probiotic. By the second week, I lost my uncontrollable appetite. I actually get hungry, my stomach growls and I think "Oh I should eat...". I am not on a "time to eat" schedule any more like I was so far too long now, where I ate regardless of hunger just because it was lunch time. I would be happy to answer any of your questions. I find the diet super simple and filling. Its not restrictive in a sense that most diets are and the rules are easy to follow.

Aw, thanks girl! I'm glad that you could get something out of my journey ... and it still goes on!

But I'm so proud of you standing up for yourself and worrying about you/your health! That makes ALL the difference!

Let's keep it moving in the right direction! You got it, girl!
