Belly Dancin' Mama

I've started and stalled out a couple of times. Third time seems to be the charm. I've been able to stick with it. The SparkPeople smartphone app has helped a lot. No more grandiose plans or unachievable goals. Being consistent seems to be the key!

My Goals:
Loose weight (duh), be fit enough to dance again, reduce the amount of medications I'm on.

My Program:
I'm doing my very best to enter all my food intake. Due to physical limitations, I'm not able to do much physical activity ...YET!

Personal Information:
I was born in Wonju, S. Korea but moved to the states when I was a toddler. I grew up in Oklahoma and I learned to cook like an Okie; batter and deep fry EVERYTHING, then smother it in gravy. Moving to Colorado, I was a single mom to my special needs son until he entered college. Now I'm happily married with a teenage girl still at home. We're ALL clinically obese and support to lose weight has been a challenge.

Other Information:
"That which does not kill me will only make me stronger." Nietzsche's MOM (Nietzsche was a sexist pig, so I choose to believe his mother must have said this when giving birth to him!)

Good morning, my Friend! Emerson said, "The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him." I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!! And I thank you for believing in me :)
