One Day at a Time

I am a happy person. The only thing bringing me down at this time in my life is my weight. I am up 90 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. My life is so different now that I'm a mom and I find myself eating out of frustration because I have very little time for myself. I have to make some sustainable changes or I am not going to be a very healthy person.

My Goals:
To be fit, vivacious and healthy for myself, for my family.

My Program:
Tracking food, 1200 calories per day, rowing machine 4 X per week, strength training.

Personal Information:
I was a lean and athletic 137 lbs before my pregancy. I thought being pregnant gave me license to finally be able to indulge for a while. I know from genetics and earlier struggles with weight that I will never be the kind of person who can "indulge" without consequences. Once the pounds are on, they are so hard to take off! When I get to my goal weight, I will make sure I never let myself go like that again!

Other Information:
I had my beautiful daughter at 40 (my first and only), so I have to be healthy and active for many years to come if I want to be around for her well into her adult life. That is my greatest motivator -- that and my HOT husband!
