My Program:
I have been trying to watch what I eat and walk each day. However due to some health issues and the medication for these problems it is very difficult to make a lot of headway. I start lossing quite well, then something happens and I gain part or all of the weight back. It does get very frustrating!

Thanks for stopping by my page. I'm doing much better. Still struggling with my weight loss but I know it will take time to lose the weight. I'm just taking it one day at a time and doing my best. My back has been bothering me so I haven't really been doing much in the exercise area. I did go for physical therapy, but after I got done there I hurt worse than before I got there. I was in so much pain. They gave me some exercises to do and one of them is getting on the floor and lying on my stomach. I have a hard time getting back off the floor so I don't usually do exercises that I have to get on the floor for. I don't think I'll be doing these exercises either. Oh well. How have you been doing? Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for stopping by my page. I've got a cold right now that I'm trying to get over and that's bringing me down right now. However, the way that I stay motivated is I look at the small reward that I set for myself when I lose so much weight. That is what keeps me on track. I try not to look at how much I have to lose totally because I can become very depressed knowing I have over 100 pounds yet to lose so I look at the smaller goal. It works for me and I also get a reward for accomplishing it. Remember to take baby steps through this process. This is a lifestyle change and not a diet so it will take time. It doesn't happen overnight.

If I can be of anymore help or just someone to talk with, let me know.

Hi Cris---

How are u doing? How's the journey going? I saw what you had written on my feed..Are u feeling any less frustrated? I was offline for a few days but I'm back on now if u wanna chat. Please feel free to look me up. I know how frustrating it can be when you're getting started. It's not an easy road but we didn't gain it in a day and we won't lose it as quickly...Please look me up..Looking forward to hearing from u! Best wishes, Courtney

Hi Cris--I saw your intro on the osteo arthritis team page. I wasn't sure where to respond to it, so I thought I'd just go to your page and comment..Lol. I hope that's ok. I too suffer from most of the same ailments. OA, DDD, bulging discs...I have muscle spasms (mostly in the neck, bone spurs at the top of my spine)..I know about the pain. I get the injections in my spine every 4-6 weeks. They do offer some relief for me. Sometimes they hold me til the next one sometimes it's like "shoot me now" a week after I get it. Our stories just sounded so similar, I felt compelled to write to u. I too am trying to lose weight to ease the pain and discomfort associated with the arthritis. My condition is chronic and I know it will never go away but atleast I can control how fast my discs will degenerate and how fast the arthritis will progress. That's part of the reason why I'm on this journey to a healthy lifestyle. Before I began losing the weight ( I lost 30lbs. before SP) I could barely move without pain never mind walk more than 1/2 mile.

Anyway, I'm beginning to ramble. I look forward to getting to know u better. Hope to see u around the threads. I added u as a friend. Feel free to add me back. U can never have too many friends or too much support on this journey! That's how I feel.. emoticon . I'm on alot so feel free to look me up if u wanna chat, vent, or just complain about the aches and pains that we suffer from! Best of luck to you and you can do this!

Courtney
