Losing It

I'm a working mom and happily married wife. I have 2 beautiful kids. Started on my quest for losing weight in September 2010 when I weighed 242 pounds. Lost a lot of it and now on my way to finish the rest. About 40 more pounds, give or take depending on how I feel, to lose. Hoping to lose it all by December 31, 2011. I've done it by counting calories, logging my food ...

I've done it by counting calories, logging my food intake in a journal, eating @ 1800 calories a day.

Joined Spark People to get a little more motivation and log my food, and fitness goals.

Update 8/2013
I had a lot of life changes occur after I got closer to goal. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 and anxiety disorder after having a major meltdown. I had to be out on lithium and some other meds to get myself under control. And in doing so, I started turning to food for comfort. The pounds piled back on. But now I feel like I'm in a better place and have learned a lot the past 3 years. Im still on the meds, but I'm ready to tackle this weight problem again.

I have celiac disease so along with trying to eat healthy, I eat gluten free!
