July '05, in my flower garden. Probably 170 lbs. Still fooling myself about my weight!

March '07, about 180 lbs. I was shocked to see how heavy I looked - I was sure I was thin!

Me 20 years ago - not skinny, but at my goal weight!

I have 8 pics in my gallery

My postpartum metabolism could not cope with my bad habits and I have been paying the price ever since. A diagnosis of pre-diabetes scared me into getting serious. Time to lose the weight and get fit!! So far, I'm doing it and I give SparkPeople most of the credit for keeping me in line!
And yes, to those who've asked, my lettuce background is a portion of our farm - we grow organic vegetables for the local stores.

I noticed from one of the message boards that your starting weight and goal weight were similar to mine and that you were almost at goal--it is a good motivator to see someone be successful!

Just dropping by to see how things are going. My great-grandmother had a woodburning stove when I was a little girl. Do you cook all your family's meals on it?

Thanks for stopping by to say hello. You are making wonderful progress , I see you're almost at goal. Thats Great!
Im doing okay, just dont have as much puter time as I used too or would like to , but I must make time for what keeps me accountable, and thats my SP friends like you.
Yes the smoke devils are gone for good and good ridens , cant believe I started that nasty habit in the first place, yuck.
To tell the truth, I havent had a real craving for nicotine since I quit Jan 1st, but I do crave for food more. So I am working on finding a balance for that so as not to gain wt.
I say one meal at a time, is the only way to do it,
Have a good Day
