April 13th, 2014

I didn't reach all my goals for 2013, but I did meet a few of them. One of the best things I had happen was discovering things about myself, both my strengths and weaknesses.
My journey just keeps getting better and better.

LIFTINGLIFE

Thanks for your comments on my photos and my page. My heaviest was about 7 or 8 years ago - about 247 pounds. I'd lost 99 pounds then started gaining. I've been on a 25 pound up and down roller coaster for the last five years! So you like lifting? That's awesome!! Deadlifts are/were my favorite. I'm actually not lifting right now - long story. I don't have a trainer anymore so I've got to do it on my own and I'm nervous about lifting heavy on my own. I haven't been lifting in about five months. Time to get back at it! I recently got into the Les Mills classes at the gym, my favorite is Body Combat. So, on my journey, I'm currently in a serious struggle to get back on track! I want my 148 pound muscular body back (I thought I was heavy then, all I could focus on was the five remaining pounds!) I'm going to up my walking every day and lift three days a week and see what happens. Anyway, I've been largely inactive on spark for the last few years but I've been lurking around lately :) It's great to meet you! Okay, I'm off to creep your page!!

"You are capable and worthy of being and doing anything.
You just need the discipline and determination to see it through.
It won't come instantly, and you may backslide from time to time, but don't let that deter you.
Never give up. Life is an ever-changing process, and nothing is final.
Therefore, each moment and every new day is a chance to begin anew."

Hi there - we have quite a bit in common it took 8 years and four surgeries I possibly didn't need before I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia - it may not be the life we would have chosen for ourselves but we work with the cards we've been dealt

Stay strong, stay positive and always stay hopeful xx

Thanks for stopping by my page. Yes, water is a challenge for me. I was so good at it for a long time and have fallen back into bad habits. Luckily, they'll be short lived because I intend to get out of them quick!
