I will not be weak!

I discovered fitness at the age of 29 because although I was "skinny", I was weak. Back then, I could not run one mile at a 13:00/mile pace. Fast-forward 14 years, and I have run many half-marathons, marathons and ultras, including qualifying for and running Boston 2011. I struggle with a sweet tooth and tendinitis, so I still have my ups and downs. I'm hoping to get back into "BQ" shape and run Boston again when I'm 45.

Hi, New to the virtual team thought to send you a bit of encouragement from one of my favorites.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...” Dr. Seuss

I'm not sure about the acronym. Maybe because I haven't done a long run in such a long time. LSR sounded right. To my generation LSD meant something else entirely.

Ha ha - "Growing up with Bali" reminds me of the "Prelude" bra I wore through my 20s. I never got to the "symphony." Sorry for the genetics, kid. Concentrate on the other good qualities. What choice do we have?

Thanks for the friend add. I had actually added you a while ago, but I'm not sure we always get a notice when someone adds us. Anyway, it's done now so you're stuck with me.
