Patience, persistence.

My priorities for health:
-- Exercise almost every day, at least 10 mins, with a weekly goal of 15+ miles walking (incl some running intervals).
-- Limit alcoholic beverages. None at home. Moderate at social occasions.
-- Get to bed by 11pm almost every night, with a goal of getting 7 or 8 hours of sleep per night.
-- Eat more fruit & vegs than anything else. Nothing is forbidden, but moderation is a must.

What challenges remain:
Knees hurt so much sometimes!!! This will improve with weight loss.
Parties, evenings out, vacation, stress still push my calories up. I need to make some small goals and chip away at these bad behaviors!

What I tell myself:
If I can imagine the life that I want, then I can live that way right now and not put it off another day.

Current Status:
HAZELFRUIT DH being sulky due to argument that I can't undo. So I went to the gym as planned. 3.3 miles easy walk on treadmill. Also 1 mi during my break at work.

A remarkable thing happened to me yesterday - I was asked "how was your day?" and the person actually wanted to hear my response. I almost did not know what to answer - I was like "day -uh - I thought my day just began a few seconds ago. You mean there were several hours before this - ok - let me see" emoticon emoticon emoticon
