Hi my name is Theresa. Welcome to my Spark Page!!!!! Food has always been center stage in my life, but I was never really overweight until my adolescence. I have tried to lose the weight with diet and exercise, but haven't had much luck. My turning point happened two years ago. I was working two fulltime jobs; One 3am to 3pm, and the other 5pm-12am. I was overdosing on Coffee, Energy Drinks, Caffine pills trying to keep going. I was very tired, very exhausted all the time. My unhealthy habits landed me in the ER with serious heart problems. A quote from the movie Shawshank Redemption came to my mind as I was waiting in my hospital bed. It was” Get busy Living or Get Busy Dying” I needed to start living. Since then I started to make changes in my life. I found SP and it has been wonderful!!! I am slowly learning how to take off the weight and (the best part) keep it off! I am SO DONE being the Fat GIRL (with a pretty smile).
