Without Struggle There Is No Progress

I've been a member of Spark since Aug. of 07, although I didn't start using it until Jan. of 08. I lost 33 lbs. and maintained it for over a year. When I turned 50 I looked and felt the best I had in years.
Life got busy and I slowly gained it all back plus some extra. I've been struggling to get back on track for over a year. I do well for a few days and then I fall off the wagon. I can't seem to find and keep my motivation.

Life got busy and I slowly gained it all back plus some extra. I've been struggling to get back on track for over a year. I do well for a few days and then I fall off the wagon. I can't seem to find and keep my motivation.
Over the years of losing and not learning how to maintain I've learned that I have to do exercise I enjoy, eat some of the foods I like, and not try to be perfect.
I'm going to try again to get this weight off. I felt so much better and better about myself when I was thinner. I'm not going to make promises that I will reach certain goals by specific dates. That has worked for me in the past, but not lately. I don't want to break any more promises to myself so I'll take it slow.

Thank you Kim for the information on my blog about best way to track my walking. I think that is what I am going to do right off my pedometer.

Thanks for checking in and reading my 70.3 finish blog. It was so much better having my family there for this race. I didn't get any pictures of my beautiful GD, because she was behind the camera.

I got an email from Fitbit and it stated that they will only count minutes if you have 10 or more minutes of continuos activity. Just thought I'd pass it on to you. Have a great day!
