Healthy4life here.

My story:

I settled for "overweight" the first 26 years of my life.

Both my parents are obese...so i figured i had reason to be.

I've always been somewhat athletic, and thought that gave me an excuse to eat however i like!

Four years ago i made a commitment to get more fit. I was healthy, but overweight none the less.(37% body fat)

My story:

I've always been somewhat athletic, and thought that gave me an excuse to eat however i like!

Four years ago i made a commitment to get more fit. I was healthy, but overweight none the less.(37% body fat)

Started by joining Curves. After 6 months or so of moderate weightloss, i began to realize the importance of healthier eating.

Once i got both balls rolling....exercise and healthier eating...found myself 40 lbs lighter!...of course, this didn't happen overnight.

Now...i am newly married...and fighting the urge to "get too comfortable". (have gained 25lbs in the past yearand a half)

It took me so long...and such hard work to get under the 2's...and i hate to be back!

I am very disciplined at getting in my workouts, but sometimes need more strength when it comes to resisting edible temptation!

I recently joined TOPS support group, and my goal is to weigh in each week with a min 1.5 lb weightloss.

Sept Goals:

Keep Average Calorie Intake under 1500

Min: 30 mins exercise/day

Min: 3 glasses of H20/day

Keep away from fastfood and sweets

190 lbs or less by end November

My Program:
Gym 3 x per week,
30 min cardio, 20 mins stretching/weights

Walk pup MIN 4 days/week

Journal my food, and track on SP.

Weekly support group.

Hi Bonnie,
Just dropped by to see how the "mom to be" is these days. How are you feeling now and when's the baby due?

I remember when I had my one and only child. The day before I was running up and down hills, went into the hospital, slept through most of my labor and had my daughter 4 hours later. I'm probably one of those women that could give birth and go out and plough the back 40 afterwards, lol.
