WELCOME to my HealthyBarb page. I have been with Sparkpeople for over 2 years, have lost 35 pounds, have lowered my blood pressure and am experiencing more energy and renewed commitment to reaching my goal weight! My goals are to change my life and body to be healthier and more simplified. I am enjoying the results of my time with sparkpeople learning and exercising and eating healthy and watching my clothes fit better on a cuter body! I love that there is one site that continues to motivate me to set goals, track my daily life choices and be accountable. After being unwell for close to 3 years with major autoimmune failure and I am finally enjoying a new season of life as my body is becoming healthier. I have recently had some issues with my immune system again but with spark have been able to maintain my weight and as things are settling down now I am committed to working on my weight loss goals in the coming months. I love Sparkpeople.com and have found a place filled with friends and encouragement that has made staying on this get healthy path not only doable but fun!! Smiles Barb

My Goals:
1. Eat healthy and increase Fiber and Potassium while monitoring calories. 2. Lose weight and keep it off. 3. Keep motivated with daily exercise plan . 4. Make long term healthy life changes and make a get healthy bucket list. 5. Keep commitment to my Summer 5% Challenge Bears!!
My Program:
1. Ride recumbent bike or do aerobic exercise daily for 60 mins. 2. Do fibromyalgia stretches 5x weekly. 3. Use Twister board weekly and BP stress balls 3x weekly. 4. Use weights and walk for strengthening and bone density 3 - 4x weekly. 5. Daily log my nutrition and exercise on sparkpeople.
Personal Information:
Love spending time with my hubby and enjoy being mom to two beautiful daughters. Love to read. Enjoy cooking, going out to eat, walking at the ocean and being out in nature. Love to camp in our trailer and visit Vashon and Whidbey Islands.
