Hi! I am a school district administrator from NW Pennsylvania that needs some extra motivation to lose weight. A few years ago I was doing a good job getting healthy and was side-tracked by the stress in our school district and it just put the breaks on everything in my life. Over the past few years as the level of stress has increased in my life the pounds have risen also.

Now I am working to reduce stress, both at work and at home. Hopefully I can put everything into perspective ...

My Goals:
Concentrate on looking and feeling my best everyday.

Journal/Blog once a week.

Exercise every day.

Run a 5k.




My Program:
I am starting by tracking nutrition/water, exercise and sleep through a fitbit. Also, using an alternate day fasting schedule and eating "clean" as much as possible.
As I progress, adding specific time for vigorous exercise is something I need to work on accomplishing.

Other Information:
My "mantra" for 2010 was "One Thing". For 2014 it is "less". Less of everything; making excuses, sitting still, stress, worry, the list goes on and on. If each day I work on there being a little less maybe at the end of the year there will be less of me!

HEY GIRL! Sorry it took me so long to stop by and say HI! I am so glad to hear that IAMTHIN72's story inspired you!!!! She is actually one of my best friends and that's how I got into doing SparkPeople! The main thing to focus on is that weight loss is a life long journey and not a destination. It is a beautifu sunny day isn't it, this is my favorite time of year. emoticon Maybe you can save this recipe for the upcoming holidays. I just found these recipes and wanted to share. No kidding, low calories and $2.00.

Guilt Free Yummy guilt free chocolate cake.
1 chocolate cake mix
1 can diet coke (any diet cola works, even Wal-mart brand)
Mix and bake as directed. (no I am not kidding)
cool and add fat free cool whip

For you Angel food cake lovers
1 Angel food cake mix
1 can of diet Sprite or 7-up (generic works as well)
Mix and bake as directed and enjoy with Strawberries and free cool whip. (this is also 3 Points for the cake an cool whip, just add points for fruit)
