This is not the first time I joined SparkPeople. I originally started several years ago, when I weighed 223 lbs. I got down to around 200 lbs. and have hovered around there since.
On Tuesday, May 14, 2013, I weighed in at 204 lbs., and I recommitted myself to SparkPeople that very day. This time, I am forcing myself to take it slow, one baby step at a time, because I tend to go all in and burn myself out fairly quickly. I have an impressive amount of cardio stamina for someone who weighs over 200 lbs., but I have learned that jumping right into an hour a day, 5 days a week just isn't the way to go.
Goal 1 - 1st 26 lbs., 1/4 of the way there (197 lbs.)!
Reward: Running shoes!
Goal 2 - Halfway there (171 lbs.)!
Goal 3 - Out of 'obese' B.M.I. category (162 lbs.)!
Goal 4 - 3/4 of the way there (144 lbs.)!
Goal 5 - Out of 'overweight' B.M.I. category (135 lbs.)!
Goal 6 - 118 lbs., goal weight!
Reward: Tattoo I've been wanting forever!
Cardio 4-6 days/week, 30+ min/day, w/5K training 3 days/week
ST 2-3 days/week, full body (Right now, I'm obsessed with this Barre 3 routine: http://www.prevention.com/fitness/strength
Stretching 5-7 days/week & yoga 1-2 days/week
Rest 1-2 days/week
