I don't suppose the scouts would benefit much from selling Fat Mints!
In a follow up, I gave all the rest of the boxes to the Food Pantry. And,, the very next week, my manager (I work for a contracting firm) brought me a whole shopping bag of girl scout cookies.
I put them out on a share table, which started a stampede to the table. But in the end, I still had 2 full boxes.
Easter Monday, I heard more commotion and a huge guy in a pink Easter bunny suit was making the rounds with a basket full of mini chocolate bars. Instead of taking one, I gave him two boxes of cookies. He looked at me like I was nuts, but he took them and went on!
“The chief beauty about time is that you cannot waste it in advance. The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you, as perfect, as unspoiled, as if you had never wasted or misapplied a single moment in all your life. You can turn over a new leaf every hour if you choose.” -Arnold Bennett
I am turning over a new leaf, thanks to the support of my Sparkfriends! I appreciate your comment on my blog, "Coming Out Of Hiding." Have a healthy week!
