My Goals:
Health Goal: Increasing the longevity and quality of my life and staying out of the ER!

Social Goal: Finally losing this stubborn belly and enjoying shopping and fashion again.

My Program:
I am monitoring my diet and eating low sodium, low fat, and low cholesterol; but I do allow myself the occasional hamburger! (And man, do I enjoy it!)

I also work out consistently. I have gone from being winded from the easiest of activities after being released from the hospital post-heart-attack (like walking from the car to the mailbox) to running for just over 30 minutes at a time and lifting pretty heavy weights (for a girl that is). I love to watch the muscle definition in my arms develop. Its my newest obsession!

Personal Information:
Jacksonville, Florida

I gave up a successful career of 14 years to go back to what I love nutrition and exercise! I am currently a full-time nutrition student, am studying for my ACE Personal Trainer Certification, and taking an Intrinsic Coaching class.

Anyone in Jax need a wellness coach/personal trainer??? ;)

Hi Alexia! Likewise, it is great seeing a fellow dietitian! I'm running off tonight for family time but I'll catch up with you tomorrow! I did my masters thesis on the non-diet approach to weight management! We must chat!!

Shift your problems to challenges. When you have problems, you
worry about them. When you have challenges - you are working,
applying, and attacking your plan to get results. This shift in
thinking from problems to challenges is important in making
tension an asset, focus on your Goal.
