I am newly married to the love of my life and ready to get rid of the Bride Brain and get healthy and fit. I am committing to using all of the resources at my fingertips and making sure that I am taking care of myself. I am super excited to make some changes and be the best wife, friend, and co-worker I can be.

My Goals:
My goals are simple: eat better and become a runner. My current career keeps me strapped to a cubicle so I am looking to learn more about how to be healthy at work. I want to get back my runner's body and finally tackle the marathon!

My Program:
Currently I am trying to practice the principles of The Eat-Clean Diet and following my fiber intake. At the same time I am following the training program in "Running for Mortals" which includes cardio/running four days a week and strength training twice a week.

Personal Information:
Jesse and I recently moved to a small suburb of Chicago where things are quiet and the parks are bountiful! My new job as an admissions advisor for an online university has created a lot of "sitting on my butt time" so I'm really trying to adapt to that. Things are great and there have been a lot of changes recently but I am trying diligently to take everything in a positive scope!

Other Information:
I LOVE BOOKS! If you have read my blog my favorite place these days is the library. I also have a 45 minute commute each way to work and have become obsessed with audiobooks - especially juicy fiction to keep my mind off the horrible things I am doing to the environment for a buck (yikes). Also, I am obsessed with running, and anything about running.

    Thanks for such a sweet comment on my page! I'm a huge reader, too. The library is one of my favorite places! I haven't read fiction for a while, basically concentrating on polital science, psychology, sociology, and metaphysics. I used to be a huge Nora Roberts fan ...John Grisham is incredible, as well.
