My goal is to maintain my weight at 129 pounds and stay fit as a fiddle. Maintaining my weight & staying fit is most important to my health and, yes, to my vanity.

I'm retired and have a life partner. At 67, life is good. I teach and take classes at a local college for recreation. Low stress living is the key that opens the door of happiness for me.

hey you!
Thx for my page visit!
Project Runway is a competition I love on the station TLC.
I watch it every week with my sister, its our weekly "date".
Only she lives in Fla, I live in TX, so we call when the commercials are running.

There's a new episode every Thursday nite, repeats later than nite and sometime during the week. Its a lot of fun.
They start out with 16 contestants.
Every week there's a new fashion challenge where the contestants are given a budget and a day or two to come up with a garment, one person is eliminated each episode.

This past episode 16 skydivers jumped out of airplanes and the contestants had to make garments from the parachutes.

Not only is if fun for the contest, but there's so much personality and DRAMA going on there that it makes whatever drama that's going on in my life or my sister's pale in comparison. ha

Anyways, its good to know that you are hanging in there with your weight goals. We've been given a reprieve from the hot dry weather recently. We've had temps in the 70s believe it or not. Amazing for this time of year and location.

Here's to a delightful weekend!

Hey Cute Stuff!
Thanks for your mail... I wondered where everyone in our group went but I've just been too busy to send out any homing pigeons.

Just back from 9 daze in Florida, was there on a whirlwind tour of friends and family.

I will have to look online for Elaine Stritch, sounds like my kinda gal.

As for your inlaws... urrrrr!
Sadly our sig others come with blood relatives... meaning there's usually gonna be some blood shed and its usually ours.

My advice is to ignore them although that might be like ignoring the Harpies at Phineas' table.

Peace, love and great weekend of fun and frolic~

Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with blessings!

Thanks for the sound advice. I did use Nice N Easy
but it was a little too dark and reddish. Thank good-ness
I used shampoo right away and it is a deep golden blonde.
I was actually going to let it go natural, but I had the colour.
Methinks it will be the last time I will do this. I just want to
be natural and it is funny I never used to colour my hair .
5 years ago a friend paid for what I thought was a haircut
for my birthday. The hairdresser was also told to put a
colour in and so I have been touching up ever since.
I really can't be bothered anymore, so after this grows out
that's it. Bye for now and Have a great Sunday. emoticon
