Trying to return to my pre-1st-baby (10-yo) weight in time for my 2nd baby's 2nd birthday, September 2, 2013. My first baby step on the way there is to get out of the "Obese" (BMI @30.8 Started at 37.8) category. It's discouraging, and I don't like it.
UPDATE: I have left the Obese category today (May 2, 2013) and there is no going back! Now, 30 pounds to loose to shed the overweight category.

My Goals:
I want get out of the "Overweight" (BMI @29.92 Started at 37.8 "Obese") category and into the "Healthy" category by the end of Summer.

My Program:
I am lowering my caloric intake and kayaking. In between kayaking trips I am doing resistance band and balance training to prepare my arms, shoulders, back, and stabilizers for endurance while kayaking.

Personal Information:
I'm from the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast!

Other Information:
I devour books. I don't think I could list favorites or even a genre because I have so many. Reading could easily be a motivational hurdle for me when it comes to exercise, but that's what audio books are for!

Hola chica-- I want to go kayaking -- that is if you are feeling up to it. If not how about a nice walk on Bay St. Louis Bridge? I am off on Sundays and Mondays now.
