I stumbled upon this site when I was looking for Diet/Fitness/Nutrition Information. I watched a video about it and decided to join. I plan to spend some time looking around and want to begin some kind of diet/fitness/weight loss plan this week ... probably the day after Labor Day (2008).

I have set/reset my goals here several times - I have had successes and setbacks ... but this site seems to keep me 'on track' ~ even if I 'stray' every now and again. I actually have lost 25 ...

I actually have lost 25 pounds with the help of SparkPeople ... have gained some of that back - but, as 2015 begins, I feel that I am well on my way ~ once again ~ to that healthy lifestyle that I know is good for me.

My Goals:
I started here in September, 2008 with a goal to get into shape and lose 24-25 lbs. by Christmas.

My main goal ~ as 2015 has begun ~ is to achieve a healthy lifestyle ... healthy, sensible eating and exercise is exactly what is needed!

My Program:
In 2010, I found the 5% Challenges. These Challenges, along with some common sense eating/exercising are some of the things that have helped me most on this journey to create a 'healthier' me.

~My favorite thing to do is be with and take care of my family.
~I love theatre, especially musical theatre.

I find the "team exercise" kind of confusing as I saw another post stating I only had to post my exercise/water.

I am so happy to be on your team... it is encouraging to be on a team with a nutritionist, as I have been counseled by one, when I was having multiple health problems. I am much better now, and excited to get even healthier on this challenge and lose a few pounds in the process! emoticon
