My Corner of the World

If God sends you down a stony path,
may he give you strong shoes.

Jesus, help my eyes to see
All the good Thou sendest me.
Jesus, help my ears to hear
Calls for help from far and near.
Jesus, help my feet to go
In the way that Thou wilt show.
Jesus, help my hands to do
All things loving, kind, and true.
Jesus, may I helpful be,
Growing every day like Thee.
Amen.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be ...

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

supper sounds like it was pretty good! we've been eating healthy now for just over a week. my journey to be a healthier me has been made so much easier since Geoff "got on board" with wanting to eat better and do more physical stuff. we had a moderate amount of rain last night but today was sunny & pleasant

how's everything in your neck of the woods?

Marie

You don't get any cardinals there? I guess they stay a little further to the East. We used to have them in Michigan, too. We have Gold Finches but they come in the early spring on their way back north, and don't stay very long. I think it is fascinating the way that such little birds can migrate such long distances. They just "know" when its time to move again! emoticon
