I need to lose some serious poundage, as in about -50 as my eventual, healthy goal. I'm not built to be a waif, I have a linebacker's stature. But I'd like to keep my curves, albeit in a healthy weight range.

I'm in my senior year as a Psych/English undergrad, and plan to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

I divide my time between Milwaukee and Chicago, and have the best of both!

Welcome to the Wisconsin team! Good to have you with us. I think you are right about having the best of both worlds with going between Milwaukee and Chicago! I grew up in Racine but now we are NW of Milwaukee. A slower pace of life than in the city. I like that, too!

Thanks for the biking suggestions!

Well, my problem with biking is that I don't last very long... maybe a block. yeah. scary I know. Also, my toosh tends to hurt on the seat. This wasn't the case, when I was young. I could go for miles. I must be out of shape. Do you think I should strengthen my leg muscles?

Be sure to ask questions if you have them ... someone will likely have the answer. Use the tools SparkPeople provides. They are invaluable. If you feel an emotional eating attack coming on, come to the boards first. Write about it instead of pushing the feelings away with food. We're here for you!
