Doing it right this time...
The goals are simple: 1. Eat healthy 2. Move the body 3. Make it all a habit -------------------------- I've been on the weight loss thing it seems like my whole life. I do well and then I hit a bump in the road and I back slide. I tend to make everything more complicated than it needs to be and am trying to do it right this time. Stick to the basics. Be good to my body. And not beat myself up if I decide to splurge or if I have a bad day. No one can ...

I do well and then I hit a bump in the road and I back slide. I tend to make everything more complicated than it needs to be and am trying to do it right this time. Stick to the basics. Be good to my body. And not beat myself up if I decide to splurge or if I have a bad day. No one can be perfect - least of all me. If I have more good days than bad I'll count that as success. --------------------------- My crazy life - so on a personal note. I've had another one of those "bumps in the road" this summer. It's been crazy. First my precious kitty died just a few days short of her 19th birthday. It's been sad since she was a part of my entire adult life - and I'm an "animals are my kids" kind of person. Next my car of 16 years finally gave up the good fight. To those sad stressful events - I went on vacation to Disney and came back engaged! Kevin proposed at the Magic Kingdom. Now, we are in a mad dash to get me moved over to his place and put mine on the market to try to sell by the end of the year. As I type I'm surrounded by boxes. On other notes, I work full time (compliance) and masquerade as a glass artist evenings and weekends. I opened up my own shop this spring and well, it keeps me busy!
