Saw your post in the veggie forum. Even if you are only becoming more /conscious/ of your consumption of animal products, I think it's a step in the right direction. Some people can go "cold turkey," but most people can't. For me and my husband, it was a long -- but not painful or stressful! -- transition, and although we kept some stuff around the house to use up and continued to eat some of our favorite things for a while, what ended up happening was that we didn't really want to eat those things when there were better options available. If the time is right for you to go "full herbivore," much of it will fall into place and just feel natural. Keep your chin up!
