In order to support everyone in my life, I have to take care of myself. My goal is to live a long, healthy, joyful life with those I love! After years of feeling sick and visiting doctor after doctor, I was diagnosed with fibromyalsia, irritable bowl, migraines, and a host of other mystery illnesses. I was unwilling to accept a lifetime of pain and pills and chose to do more research. Everyting I found pointed toward my diet! I gave up the white flour, (most) white sugar, artifical sweeteners ...

I gave up the white flour, (most) white sugar, artifical sweeteners (especially diet soda), and meat. I finally made the jump to a vegan diet in February 2010 and I can't imagine going back. I feel like a new person!

7th goal- 135lbs.
8th goal- 130lbs.
9th goal- 125lbs.
Final goal- 120lbs.
(Dr Fuhrman says I should weigh 115lbs, but that is just too thin for me.)


My Program:
I follow a vegan diet. Right now I'm following the vegan version of a program called Tone It Up. It is a whole food plan that encourages greens and plant-based proteins.

Thank you for the comment on my blog. The documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" was a game changer for me. I watch it often for inspiration, even now. I also found Cherie Calbom's book on fasting and detos to be very inspirational Even very short juice fasts and reboots can be very healing. Even added green juice to your day can be a big help.
