There are hundreds of different methods to lose weight and many of them work - for a while.
My goal is to be able to live, think, eat and exercise like an athlete, someone who is physically, mentally and emotionally capable of moving closer to their dreams every day.

My Goals:
Really living my life!
That means staying open-minded to new ideas, new activities and new blessings.

My Program:
My program changes every day. It depends on the weather, how much time I have and what interests me at the moment. I love riding, running with my dogs, swimming, ice skating, rollerblading, hiking, yoga, ballet. But there are always new things to explore.

Other Information:
Never giving up too early is important. We build our future on our mistakes of the past.

Thank you for your comment on my blog! I will have to look at that wheat thing for memory. I cannot believe how bad mine has gotten.

“The one thing all famous authors, world class athletes, business tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated achievers in any field have in common is that they all began their journeys when they were none of these things.” Yet still, they began their journeys, Mike Dooley

“In the beginning, the price of giving great love is risking that it won't be returned. Until you understand, of course, that great love is always returned. With interest.” - Mike Dooley

“I do believe that the single most important thing I could ever share with you with regard to maximizing the health, harmony, and happiness in your life can be summed up in just two words: 'Love Yourself'” - Mike Dooley

Have a great weekend

Thank you for stopping by to read and comment on my Motivation blog. I've had several other people suggest various diet changes that worked for them. Carbs do keep coming up in one way or another, whole grains only, no grains, limiting the amount, etc. I've never heard of cutting out beans though. I've been resisting major diet changes because I also cook for my husband who has type 1 diabetes. He isn't overweight at all and has his disease under very good control. Since my first husband died at age 48 from not controlling his type 2 diabetes I'm hesitant to try any major diet changes that would "rock the boat". I don't have to eat everything he does though so I guess I'll have to give it some more thought. Thank you again for taking the time to read and respond emoticon
