Today is a new day.

Perseverance will win.
I am going to shed the abnormal fat to have a body that suits me better.

No failure is truly a waste as long as you learn something from it. So here are a few things I have learned from Failing: (lolomum)
(1) Eating less can lead to hunger, and hunger can lead to overeating, but hunger never stops you from eating vegetables. As another wise saying goes, you know you are really hungry if you are willing to eat a horse including the hooves--so it isn't hunger that leads you to munch chocolate and donuts instead of filling up on greenbeans and lettuce. You have another issue (maybe physical, maybe emotional) that you need to acknowledge, because what you don't acknowledge, you don't deal with.
(2) Bad weather can be a real obstacle to walking and running for those of us without treadmills and gyms, but it is not an excuse not to strength train and stretch. I have a wall, I have a floor, I have a chairback, I have body weight (boy, do I!), so I can strength train and stretch in any weather. Granted, I may not burn nearly as many calories as you disciplined, devoted people who run come what may, but I will be healthier after 15 minutes of strength training than if I did nothing at all--plus stronger and more flexible for doing my house and yard work with greater ease.
(3) Sparkpoints don't make weight loss, diet and exercise do. Sparking takes time that you may not have today. If you don't have the time to go on SparkPeople to fill in your Nutrition and Fitness Trackers or interact with your groups and SparkFriends, but you have stuck to your meal and exercise plan, guess what, your body still responds to your healthy low-cal eating and exercise--even if you didn't document it. Also guess what, your body responds to that high calorie snack even on days you do Spark, even if you chose not to document it. So if you can't do your Sparking, eat healthy and exercise anyway--just don't make it a habit of missing more than three days in a row, you need the support.
So, may God bless all your efforts to steward the body He graciously gave you, and here's wishing all you precious Sparklers much success.
